Hi Samantha! If that's your real name. Haha. Can I ask you something? How can I balance my time? It's like, I'm more time on studying hard, less time on getting thinner and the rest are for my responsibility as a Vice-President of the Student Government. Any advice or suggestion? Thanks :)imafreelanceloner
Great question :) and yes, my real name is Samantha haha. My advice would be first and foremost GET ORGANIZED. The more organized you are whether it’s with school work, your room, etc. things will move along a lot smoother. It frees up a little extra time. Secondly, make a list of your priorities from most important to least important. from there divide your priorities into time percentages. For example, is your health more important than your school work? or do you feel it is equal? Then you should be spending the same amount of time and effort on both. If you find one is more important than the other, then knock it down a notch on the priority list totem pole. School work can take up a LOT of time and energy, as it should..but don’t let it control your life to the point where every other area of your world is crumbling to nothing. You need to spend time with family and friends. Laughing and having fun is very important to your health. Yes, school work is important, but it shouldn’t be your whole life. You mention you want to be thinner? well as far as health goes there are plenty of ways to combine the two! For example, jogging with flash cards… you can study while exercising :)..you just need to get creative! I suggest setting up a reward system for yourself for every time you manage to squeeze in homework, health, and social time into one day. Reward yourself with something you like, or even put a quarter/dollar etc. into a jar. Just like you will see the rewards of having your priorities in order, you will begin to see the physcial reward of the money adding up in that jar too! It’s great that you are so involved at your school, and it looks great on any application..but don’t forget this life isn’t a practice run.. you need to have some “you” time as well. It’s hard, but it’s possible! I believe in you! Last but not least…I think the most important thing you can do is establish not only your priorities, but your goals in life. Are your priorities getting you closer to that goal? or farther? thats important to determine before going into anything. I hope this helped a little. Love, Samantha. p.s. keep me updated!
